Our laboratory specializes in utilizing nanotechnology and advanced mass spectrometry imaging techniques to develop new therapies and drug-delivery systems. Through nanotechnology, we aim to enhance the effectiveness and specificity of pharmaceuticals by optimizing their bioavailability and bioactivity, while also targeting specific organs. We utilize mass spectrometry imaging to monitor drug interactions with target organs, explore disease mechanisms, and identify potential therapeutic targets. Additionally, we design delivery systems for topical drugs and cosmetic ingredients and use mass spectrometry imaging to visualize their permeation and distribution in various layers of the skin. Our research has garnered significant interest from the pharmaceutical and cosmetics industries.
